Job Summary
Receives work orders and performs repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and masonry. Maintains fixtures and equipment per preventative schedules, records maintenance logs, and replaces worn parts. Assists with moving furniture, cleaning internal and public areas, emptying trash, and operating snow removal equipment. Services pool and spa areas while adhering to state and city regulations. Responds to guest requests and complaints timely, escalates issues as needed, and keeps accurate key control records. Operates in varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays while prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Specialization in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- An ability to advance knowledge in these areas
- Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language, proficiently
- Commitment to delivering high level customer service
- Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to hotel maintenance issues
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
- Maintenance Technicians will be required to work varying schedules as dictated by the business needs of the hotel
- attendance at all scheduled brand and job specific training sessions and meetings
- May require nights, weekends, and holidays
- Consistent attendance in accordance to the standards set forth by Converge Hospitality
