Job Summary
Perform general repairs in and around the hotel through preventative maintenance and by responding quickly to guest and team requests. Execute a variety of tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and masonry while maintaining fixtures according to schedule and recording logs. Replace worn parts, assist with moving furniture, clean internal and public areas, empty trash, and operate snow removal equipment as needed. Service pool and spa areas in compliance with regulations, keep accurate records of key controls, and address guest complaints efficiently. Maintain professional image and relationships with customers and contractors while adhering to all safety and company policies. Work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure the hotel remains in good physical condition.
Required Qualifications
- Specialization in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Ability to advance knowledge in technical crafts
- Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language, proficiently
- Commitment to delivering high level customer service
- Ability to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to hotel maintenance issues
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
- Attendance at all scheduled brand and job specific training sessions and meetings
- Consistent attendance in accordance to the standards set forth by Converge Hospitality
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
