Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for a 200-unit HUD property in Los Angeles, responsible for inspecting property and equipment, handling electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs, preventive maintenance scheduling, safety inspections, and on-call emergency response; duties include maintaining grounds and common areas, coordinating with Property Manager and staff, responding to service requests in a first-in/first-out manner, and assisting with turnovers and vendor bids while ensuring safety and building standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years relevant apartment maintenance experience
- On-call and weekend service experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven working experience in electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs
- Proven working experience as a janitor/porter
- Valid driver's license and transportation
- Willingness to pass background and drug screening
