Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of apartment communities. Responsibilities include handling maintenance requests, unit turnovers, preventive maintenance programs, and overseeing building systems; tasks span interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, electrical, plumbing, minor appliance repairs, furniture moving, pest-control assistance, groundskeeping, and janitorial duties to maintain a safe, clean property. Works with the operations team to prepare vacant units for re-rent and to ensure compliance with safety standards; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. Requires a valid driver’s license, background check, and legal work authorization in the U.S. Must be able to operate across multiple locations and collaborate with a diverse resident population.
Required Qualifications
- Experience performing general maintenance tasks at multiple locations
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Successful completion of background check
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
