Job Summary
Assess and repair all facilities including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, painting, and remodeling. Refinish wood trimming, doors, and furniture as needed. Repair walls, wallpaper, and perform patchwork and painting. Respond to emergency maintenance calls by pinpointing and isolating issues efficiently. Carry out daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual projects and inspections. Take maintenance calls professionally while delivering satisfactory customer service. Maintain compliance with all OSHA and company safety standards by wearing required PPE and securing work areas. Support all departments and perform all other duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
- Ability to be covered by and maintain company insurance
- Ability to act independently with little supervision
- Requires a good understanding of company policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of resort amenities, room designs, and general knowledge
- Good attendance and punctual
- Exhibits professionalism
- Exhibits good grooming habits
- Wears the proper uniform
- Works efficiently
- Follows all resort and office policies and standard operating procedures
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner with a positive attitude
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hand and arms and talk or hear
- Frequently climb and/or balance
- Occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Regularly lift up to 25 pounds
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions
- Frequently exposed to high precarious places
- Occasionally exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles, toxic and/or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration
