Job Summary
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, homeowners, and internal teams, resolving issues efficiently. Handle a broad range of hands-on general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting. Perform regular property inspections, pre-arrival checks, and routine hot tub servicing to ensure every home is guest-ready. Coordinate with external contractors, maintain accurate work order records, and keep tools organized. Work closely with Dispatch, Coordinators, and Guest Services teams. Requires minimum 2+ years in property maintenance or trades, valid BC driver's license, and availability for evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years in property maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, construction, or a similar trade-based role
- Skilled across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Confident troubleshooting when things don't go to plan
- A strong communicator who works well independently and collaborates seamlessly with a team
- Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality workmanship on every job
- Comfortable with digital work order systems and mobile communication tools
- Valid BC driver's license required
- Flexible and available for evenings (to 8pm), weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with Whistler and the surrounding area (an asset, but not required)
