Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for all aspects of maintenance and repairs at an apartment community, including making ready units for new move-ins, grounds work, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders. Performs minor electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and masonry tasks; HVAC maintenance and repair; diagnoses problems, replaces parts, and tests; schedules preventative maintenance; reads equipment manuals; responds to after-hours emergencies; maintains safe, clean work areas; and is expected to work flexible hours. The role emphasizes skilled trades experience, thoroughness in maintenance tasks, and continued training and advancement opportunities.
