Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician responsible for all aspects of maintenance and repairs at an apartment community. Perform make-ready units for new move-ins, grounds work, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders. Conduct electrical work (fixtures, switches, outlets), plumbing repairs, painting, carpentry and masonry tasks, and HVAC system maintenance with certification. Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test systems; schedule and complete preventative maintenance. Read manuals, respond to emergencies after hours, and maintain safe, clean work areas. Flexible hours and adherence to safety regulations are expected; role includes ongoing training, potential advancement, and a commission-based compensation element alongside hourly pay.
