Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for all aspects of maintenance and repairs at an apartment community under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Duties include making ready units for new move-ins, grounds work (blowing breezeways, light landscaping), coordinating with the supervisor on projects and work orders, minor electrical maintenance (fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs), minor plumbing maintenance (leaks, unclogging, new lines), minor painting, carpentry and masonry, HVAC system knowledge and maintenance, diagnosing problems, replacing parts, testing and adjustments, scheduling and completing preventative maintenance, reading equipment manuals, responding to emergencies after hours, working flexible hours, complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean, orderly work areas, and completing other tasks as directed. Required Qualifications
- HVAC certification
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, masonry
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals

- Strong maintenance and repair skills across multiple trades
