Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing building systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Performs preventive maintenance, responds to work orders, and supports electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems, including alarms and ventilation. Coordinates with production, maintains equipment performance standards, and keeps the maintenance shop clean and organized while ensuring all work meets health and safety requirements. Must troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and control systems, read a tape measure, and work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Ability to troubleshoot VFD and PLC systems
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other mechanical systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes, methods, tools, and equipment
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Ability to read a tape measure and other precision measuring tools
- Detailed knowledge of internal combustion engines and automotive components, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Strong mathematical aptitude
