Job Summary
Weekend Maintenance Technicians will diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant systems while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and utility issues. The role involves performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, installing machinery and controls, and operating machine shop equipment. Ideal candidates must have at least 2 years of maintenance mechanic experience, technical training in mechanical or electrical systems, and be able to read technical documents. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance mechanic experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production specifications
- Strong problem-solving and basic computer/data entry skills
- Must supply and maintain personal hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work required weekend/OT schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training in mechanical or electrical systems (PLC knowledge preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems
