Job Summary
Maximize uptime of manufacturing machinery by proactively tracking, inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and calibrating equipment to prevent breakdowns. Perform complex troubleshooting, installation, design, modification, fabrication, repair, assembly, calibration, alignment, and testing on electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, robotics, and automation systems. Install new equipment or upgrades and provide routine maintenance while developing detailed service reports to document visits, issues, and troubleshooting actions. Utilize computerized software to track data and analyze maintenance activities. Shifts run Sunday, Friday, and Saturday from 5am to 5:30pm, totaling 36 hours paid as 40. Two weeks of training occurs on the 1st shift. Requires a high school diploma, two years of machining experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in non-climate controlled environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of work experience preferably in a machining environment
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, precision and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. when necessary
- Consistently able to manually lift and move product and materials up to 50 lbs. through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to reach forward, reach overhead, lift, carry, crouch, and bend
- Power grip and wrist turn, including the use of hand tools and/or steering fork truck
- Walk, sit, or stand for up to 12 hours with intermittent breaks
- Push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- See, inspect, handle and evaluate product quality
- Read and understand written English language work instructions
- Work in non-climate controlled environments, including hot and humid conditions
- Climb ladders and stairs of varying heights
