Job Summary
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and fix problems on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform equipment modifications, set up machinery for leveling and anchoring, and conduct small tool disassembly and repair. Maintain spares and consumables parts inventory while troubleshooting issues in the metals fabrication shop. Follow manufacturer recommendations for periodic maintenance and adhere to OSHA safety standards. This role supports mission-critical projects across industrial and DoD markets, requiring a two-year technical degree and experience maintaining industrial equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years prior experience maintaining industrial equipment or similar work
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service
- Effectively collaborates with leadership across all departments
- Ability to follow periodic maintenance per manufacturers recommendations and as needed
- Ability to work safely and follow company safety rules and guidelines
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to read and understand schematic parts diagrams
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals
- Ability to order small tool parts
- Ability to write neatly and speak clearly
- Ability to keep a clean work area and equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
- Able to reach overhead
- Able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting
- Use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Reach with hands and arms
- Climb stairs
- Balance for extended periods of time
- Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
- Must be available for extended hours of work

- Must provide complete work history with employer references for last three to five years
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with 480V 3PH cord and plug repair
- Ability to perform bridge crane and hoist maintenance
- Basic welding skills
- Two-year technical degree
- Forklift experience
- Basic carpentry skills
- Basic computer skills
