Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment essential for safe and efficient operations at a commercial brick manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance on production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, fabricating repair parts, and maintaining equipment inventories. Candidates must have skills in general fabrication, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and equipment troubleshooting. The role requires the ability to operate forklifts, hoists, and aerial lifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment
