Maintenance Technician - Warehouse (2245)

Maintenance Technician - Warehouse role at a school facility. Responsible for maintaining clean and safe buildings, grounds, and equipment; supervise personnel or services involved in cleaning; inspect for cleanliness and report conditions to the principal; perform cleaning operations when necessary; regulate heating, air conditioning, and other environmental controls to economize fuel; open/close the building as directed; perform basic maintenance and repairs; maintain a daily work log and submit to Maintenance Supervisor; report maintenance problems; maintain equipment files and preventive maintenance inspections; assist in campus landscape planning; perform duties to promote good public relations; maintain a safe work area and follow Board policies; participate in training; maintain confidentiality; ensure safety and regulatory compliance; and provide 24-hour emergency maintenance as warranted. Requires High School diploma and Alabama Class A CDL, along with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks and communicate effectively.
