Job Summary
Complete building work orders and service requests as assigned, including painting, landscaping upkeep, and repairs to fixtures, heating/cooling units, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Maintain maintenance equipment and report all mechanical failures or negative conditions to the Maintenance Director. Ensure the physical appearance of the community meets standards while communicating with co-workers, residents, and family members. Requires high school diploma or GED, one year of maintenance experience, power tool proficiency, and basic math skills. Part-time role at Oakleaf Village and The Grove Columbus with a pay rate of $18.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience
- Knowledge and experience with the use of power tools
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents and family members
- Ability to apply basic math skills
- Make routine decisions requiring minimal judgment which may affect internal department
- High school diploma or GED desirable
