Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and systems while utilizing voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate and operate scissor lifts safely to access high areas. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while providing prompt responses to maintenance requests. Requires experience as an industrial mechanic, proficiency in stick welding, and ability to work in a militarized environment. Full-time day shift with overtime available in Portsmouth, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and customers
- Experience as an industrial mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of stick welding techniques for equipment repairs
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and their maintenance requirements
- Experience using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics
- Ability to work effectively in a militarized environment, adhering to established protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods (typically 8-hour shifts)
- Ability to lift and carry materials, typically up to 50 pounds
- Requires bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Relocate before starting work (Required)
