Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, compressors, laser cutters, and more; troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and blueprints; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with OSHA and company standards; create and manage work orders, purchase parts, and track inventory; collaborate with team members or work independently to complete tasks; communicate with equipment manufacturers and vendors for technical support or parts ordering; safely work with hazards including up to 480V; requires 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience; experience with solenoids, drives, motors; intermediate computer skills; welding and PLC experience preferred; strong problem-solving, documentation, and coordination capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of electric, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Hands-on experience with solenoids, breakers, drives, contactors, and motors (single-phase, multiphase, servo)
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong use of hand and power tools
- Ability to interpret technical documents and follow detailed work instructions
- Basic math skills and experience using calipers, rulers, tape measures, and scales
- Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Able to manage small projects including sourcing materials and coordinating timelines
