Job Summary
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in performing repairs and preventive maintenance across the property. Responsibilities include maintaining apartment homes, public spaces, and grounds, along with troubleshooting minor HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues. Ensure property appearance meets company standards, handle 'make ready' tasks for units, maintain laundry facilities, and conduct pool maintenance as necessary. Requires ability to lift up to 110 pounds, work in various physical conditions, and availability for on-call emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in property maintenance
- Ability to perform repairs and preventive maintenance
- Customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Reliable means of transportation
- Proof of personal auto liability insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Pool certification preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
- Boiler certification if appropriate
Additional Requirements
- Driver must have a valid driver’s license
- Driver must have acceptable motor vehicle record with company insurance carrier
- Driver must provide proof of personal auto liability insurance when using vehicles for company business
