Job Summary
Respond to resident and management service requests for occupied and vacant rental units. Repair or replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and apartment materials. Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspect vacant units for move-ins, and execute grounds work including sweeping and light landscaping. Operate machinery safely while adhering to all safety procedures. Work on-call schedules including weekends and overtime as pre-approved by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager. Requires high school diploma, two years residential maintenance experience, and valid driver's license. Compensation ranges from $24 to $26 per hour for full-time Monday through Friday shifts. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years' general residential maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management systems
- Certifications/licenses as required by local, state, or other regulations
- Reliable transportation
- Auto insurance
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work on-call as scheduled
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work after hours
- Ability to pass background and drug screen
