Job Summary
Complete maintenance work orders for exterior and interior building systems, including painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and snow removal. Maintain inventory of tools and supplies while assessing and prioritizing daily schedules. Clean common areas, manage trash removal, and handle emergency situations by communicating details to the Property Manager. Ensure quality of all work duties and follow safety protocols while maintaining a professional manner with residents and vendors. Available for on-call rotation as necessary for emergency needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of experience in residential property maintenance
- Working knowledge of electrical
- Working knowledge of plumbing
- Working knowledge of HVAC
- Working knowledge of carpentry
- Working knowledge of painting
- Working knowledge of heating systems
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 to 10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, and pull
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors during various weather conditions
- Will be available for on-call as necessary
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Exceptional communication, sales, and negotiation skills
- Ability to solve problems involving residents and challenging situations
- A minimum of three (3) years driving experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
