Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for maintenance on automated production machinery to reduce downtime and meet production schedules; performs preventive and predictive maintenance; reads electrical and pneumatic diagrams and schematics; troubleshoots electrical, PLC, robotics, vision systems, sensors, and various control components; coordinates with suppliers, participates in projects and upgrades, and ensures safety compliance; maintains and relocates equipment, documents work, and supports machine shop and mold shop maintenance including forklift systems; requires ability to lift 50 lbs, work overtime, and operate with limited supervision. Familiarity with Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs, CNC processes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems is noted, along with broad mechanical, electrical, and tooling competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Technical Associates degree (2 year) preferred
- Preferred 3 years of applicable experience/demonstrated skill required
- Required 2 years as a Production Technician or Auxiliary
- Must have experience with basic hand tools
- Must be able to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams, knowledge of hydraulics preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Work effectively under stressful conditions
- Work with limited supervision
