Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of equipment including electrical and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes. Key duties involve troubleshooting PLCs, installing conduits and wiring, reading hydraulic and electrical schematics, and executing tasks with minimal supervision while adhering to company safety and operational procedures. Candidates must have at least 5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the capability to lift specified weights.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance and machine tool repair experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 75 lbs.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Threading equipment experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Coursework in mechanics, electrical, electronics, metallurgy or related field
