Job Summary

Maintain heating and air conditioning equipment, emergency power systems, medical gas distribution and supply systems, food service equipment, and hospital life support systems for direct and indirect patient use; diagnose and repair equipment in emergency situations; monitor building environment and lighting via a computerized building automation system and fire alarm systems; shift is 100% FTE with evenings/nights (40 hours) and three days on, four days off; location at University Hospital and American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI; requires High School Diploma or GED, preferred two-year technical diploma, and valid driver’s license; benefits include health/dental insurance, PTO, retirement plans, parental leave, tuition benefits, and referral bonuses.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Two (2) year Technical diploma Preferred
  • 2 years of maintenance experience or formal training in a healthcare setting Preferred
