Job Summary
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for installation specifications while operating air impact wrenches safely. Perform field maintenance, repair, and replacement of equipment and facilities across various elevations, including railroad repairs and work in confined spaces. Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, bulldozers, and dump trucks, with preferred experience using 20-ton plus mobile hydraulic cranes. Apply EHS standards and industry best practices to fabricate, repair, and replace physical equipment while maintaining a safe work environment. Willingness to work overtime, call outs, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics for installation specifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of proper use of hand tools
- Operate air impact wrenches in a safe manner
- Willing to perform railroad repairs
- Work safely and meet all requirements of the EHS standards at CF
- Willing and able to work overtime and call outs including nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating 20 ton plus Mobile Hydraulic Cranes
- Experience operating heavy machinery (i.e. backhoe, bulldozer, dump truck, forklifts, etc.)
- AA degree or technical certificate
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation and certifications may be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience in welding or pipe fitting
- Effective problem-solving skills and analytical thinking skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
