Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for performing general and preventive maintenance to protect and maintain buildings, equipment, utility and electrical systems while providing exceptional hospitality to residents in a senior-living community. Requires multi-trade experience (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, refrigeration, ground maintenance, masonry) and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds; includes drug screening and background check. Full-time role with benefits and a focus on resident care.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years’ experience in maintenance at commercial facilities, school systems, apartment complexes or hotels in all disciplines (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, refrigeration, ground maintenance, masonry, general maintenance)
- Reasonable computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively and perform basic arithmetic
- Must pass drug screen and background investigation
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 80 pounds; able to work in conditions with exposure to elements; able to climb ladders; able to stand/walk for extended periods
