Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I at United Rentals responsible for maintenance and repair of Mobile Storage rental fleet equipment (containers, ground level offices, office trailers, modular buildings) with emphasis on safe task execution, completing work orders, inspections, and documentation. Travel to customer sites to set office trailers and assist CDL A drivers when needed; perform 5S housekeeping, equipment readiness, and adherence to manufacturer specs and building codes. Requires basic maintenance skills, strong teamwork, customer service, and ability to lift up to 45 lbs; maintains safety standards and uses IT/work order systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Active applicable state driver's license
- Related maintenance experience a plus
- Basic verbal and written skills
- Construction knowledge and background
- Teamwork and customer service skills
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Ability to utilize information technology
- Working knowledge of heavy equipment
- Lift up to 45 lbs
