Job Summary
Remove, repair, and install floors, tiles, roofs, walls, frames, doors, windows, and screens for Mobile Storage rental equipment. Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and welding repairs; hook offices to power sources; check tire pressure; and complete work orders within budget. Conduct inbound and outbound equipment inspections, travel to customer sites to set office trailers, and safely install or uninstall value-added products. Maintain shop and yard cleanliness per 5S guidelines, organize tools and supplies, and advise supervisors of supply needs. Coordinate with CDL A drivers and mentor less experienced staff while accurately recording time and materials. Complete assignments on time, adhere to manufacturer specifications and building codes, and demonstrate competency in heavy equipment and warranty processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Active applicable state class driver's license
- 3-5 years of experience with basic electrical, plumbing and/or welding repairs
- Basic verbal and written skills
- Construction knowledge and background
- Teamwork and customer service skills
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Ability to utilize required information technology
- Working knowledge of heavy equipment, tools, and manufacturers' warranty process
- Ability to coach and mentor less experienced operations staff
- Lift up to 45 lbs.
