Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for daily safety walk-throughs, preventative maintenance, equipment history, and facility upgrades to keep the gym operational. Requires HVAC and/or electrical knowledge, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience in gym/health-club maintenance. Must have organizational and interpersonal skills, be punctual, and able to collaborate with management with minimal disruption to members. Includes OSHA monthly safety checks, procurement within budget, and maintaining equipment histories to track repair cycles. High school diploma or GED required; CPR/AED certification preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proven technical experience in building maintenance or equipment repair
- Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to complete during onboarding)
- Ability to stand, bend, lift and move heavy gym equipment up to 50 lbs.
