Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) at UFC FIT Plantation responsible for upkeep, safety, and preventative maintenance of gym facility and equipment. Performs daily facility walk-throughs, preventative maintenance on strength and cardio equipment (cleaning, lubricating cables/pulleys/guide rods, inspecting weight stacks), maintains recovery amenities (Red Light Therapy Chamber, Cryotherapy Chamber, Recovery Studio equipment), cleans turf areas, assists with assembly/installation/repair of equipment and fixtures, handles minor facility repairs (painting, hardware replacement), maintains maintenance logs, orders supplies, and completes monthly safety inspections in accordance with OSHA guidelines. Requires mechanical aptitude, ability to work independently, strong attention to cleanliness and functionality, ability to lift 50 pounds, reliable transportation, and flexible availability. Preferred experience in gym/fitness environments and knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, or HVAC concepts.
