Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for completing maintenance requests, inspecting the building for structural issues, performing routine maintenance on HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical systems, executing the Preventative Maintenance Program, and providing 24-hour emergency on-call maintenance. Role includes making-ready vacant apartments (painting, flooring, cosmetic improvements), maintaining safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards, and coordinating with the Property Manager, vendors, and residents. Requires on-call availability nights/weekends, knowledge of HVAC/plumbing/electrical systems, and applicable certifications (CAMT preferred; boiler, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-safety certifications preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of general maintenance experience
- Freon recovery certification
- CamT preferred
- Boilers, plumbing, HVAC, journeyman license, fire extinguishers, and first aid certifications preferred
- Valid Driver's License
