Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of heavy equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mobile conveyor belts, and light-duty vehicles across Twin Eagle’s Wyoming terminals. Responsibilities include inspecting, servicing, greasing, lubricating, and changing oils/filters on a scheduled basis; documenting equipment defects and work orders; using FIXX MMS to maintain accurate maintenance records; maintaining a clean, organized maintenance shop; performing service calls across terminal locations; assisting with transloading, rail car movements, and other terminal operations; and performing any other duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on mechanical experience, strong mechanical aptitude, safety-focused mindset, ability to read and follow instructions, and proven teamwork and communication skills, plus a valid driving record and flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Two to three years of hands-on experience with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with proficiency in basic math and computer systems
- Commitment to upholding Twin Eagle’s safety culture, including participation in safety training programs and safe handling of hazardous materials
- Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Able to complete all required paperwork legibly, accurately, and on time
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with team members and third-party personnel
- Must have a record of safe and competent driving (personal and commercial) as demonstrated on state Motor Vehicle Records
- Must be available to work weekends, overtime, and holidays. May work irregular schedule based on operational needs
