Job Summary
Respond to guest questions, complaints, and requests in a courteous and timely manner. Perform maintenance and repair work on building interiors, hotel rooms, laundry, kitchen equipment, HVAC, water treatment, and swimming pools. Conduct inspections for preventative maintenance needs and ensure security of inventory including tools, supplies, and furniture. Replenish supplies efficiently to minimize waste and complete assigned work orders within specifications. Record and report completed repairs and items requiring further attention. Maintain regular attendance, observe prescribed work periods, and uphold personal grooming standards. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and drive a pick-up truck for snow plowing.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to drive a pick-up truck for plowing snow
- This position requires lifting at least 40 pounds
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have the ability to work in a team
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions
- Must have effective communication skills
- Must have a professional manner
- A high school diploma with technical or vocational schooling
- General knowledge of technical fields, such as carpentry, painting, and electrical
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma with technical or vocational schooling is preferred
- Hotel experience is also preferred but not required
