Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems across San Antonio locations by reading work orders, diagrams, and prints. Dismantle machines, remove parts for repair, and reassemble equipment using hand tools, cranes, or hoists while starting machines to detect operational problems. Lubricate parts, install attachments, and maintain facilities including warehouses and production areas. Repair overhead gantry cranes, inspect damaged components, and record maintenance information. Collaborate with workers to move equipment and maintain sanitary conditions while adhering to safe methods of work and OSHA requirements. Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders up to 40 feet.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate intermediate math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver license with clean driving record
- At least five (5) years in a position demonstrating strong mechanical and industrial skills
- At least five (5) years of electrical experience
- At least five (5) years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance process
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or Associate Degree preferred
- Knowledge of Variable Frequency drives
- Knowledge of Forklift Repair
- Knowledge of Automated Hydraulics
