Job Summary

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic production systems while performing scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime. Support food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements throughout the facility by fabricating, repairing, and installing parts and components as needed. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities, and assist with equipment installation, calibration, modifications, and process improvement projects. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals to maintain pumps, motors, conveyors, HVAC systems, boilers, and other facility equipment. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency while following all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Work 12-hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, dust, and varying temperatures.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, dust, and varying temperatures
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures

Desired Qualifications

  • Vocational training, technical certification, or education in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of industrial maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Experience maintaining motors, pumps, conveyors, boilers, HVAC equipment, and production machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CMMS software and maintenance documentation
  • PLC troubleshooting and industrial controls experience
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement
