Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment, focusing on preventative maintenance and associated documentation. Key duties include ensuring the reliable operation of HVAC, steam boilers, air compressors, and electrical systems, diagnosing failures in both mechanical and electrical components, and supporting LEAN initiatives to reduce unplanned disruptions. Candidates must have a High School Diploma and relevant technical experience or certification, alongside mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- One-year certificate from college or technical school and 1-2 years’ experience or High School Diploma and 4 years’ experience
- Knowledge of safety policies, including Cardinal Rules
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, and maintenance
- Electrical knowledge of circuits, PLCs, sensors, switches, and their connectivity to mechanical systems
