Job Summary
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems while installing, aligning, and rebuilding mechanical gearboxes, vacuum pumps, and water pumps. Perform preventative maintenance, conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures, and calibrate electrical equipment to support production uptime. Document all work through SAP or CMMS systems and train production employees on inspection and lubrication practices. Communicate with vendors and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a leading manufacturer of sustainable building products in Monroe, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of vocational or technical training with certification
- 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a large industrial setting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Experience with CMMS systems
- Knowledge of root cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys or FMEA
- Experience with IR technology, lubrication practices, oil analysis, and laser alignment
