Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure reliable operation of production equipment. Troubleshoot and optimize automated machinery, including PLC-controlled systems, while supporting stamping presses, robotics, and welding operations. Document maintenance activities, track equipment performance, and communicate repair needs to minimize downtime. Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA compliance, including lockout/tagout procedures. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Fairfield, Ohio, with weekend availability as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Several years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints
- Ability to work with standard shop equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems
- Working knowledge of hydraulics
- Working knowledge of pneumatics
- Working knowledge of basic welding principles
- Ability to be highly organized
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to perform frequent physical movements such as bending, twisting, kneeling, and repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work at heights
- Availability for weekend work
- 1st shift availability (7:00am - 5:45pm Monday-Friday)
- 100% In-Office availability
