Job Summary
Paint, remodel homes, and perform minor plumbing, electrical, and landscaping work while maintaining heating, ventilation, and alarm systems. Fix locks, replace windows, and conduct pest control by spraying insecticide as needed. Keep grounds in tip-top shape through mowing, weed eating, and hedge trimming, alongside general upkeep and equipment preventative maintenance. Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed. Work autonomously while observing all health and safety guidelines to deliver high standards to residents.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 7 years - experience in housing maintenance and have tools
- Carpentry a Must
- Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Puts high value on doing a good job and self-supervisory skills
- Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
