Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform general preventive maintenance in production areas, warehouse, and offices, including inspections of conveyor systems, sortation systems, and forklifts. Troubleshoot and execute routine maintenance, installation, and repairs on building systems, manufacturing equipment, and appliances covering plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry. Move inventory manually and operate mechanical equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks while complying with OSHA safety regulations and safe work practices. Subject to on-call coverage shift changes. Maintain strong relationships with internal customers and demonstrate proficiency in multiple trades such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience
- Advanced mechanical abilities and general facility maintenance
- Strong Electrical and PLC Skills
- Subject to on-call coverage shift changes
- Comply with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety, or environment
- Understand and follow safe work practices for all trades, including but not limited to: Lockout Tag-out, Confined Space Entry, use of hazardous chemicals, use of Personal Protective Equipment, Ladder Safety, and working from Elevated Surfaces
Desired Qualifications
- Computer skills desired for operating warehouse management system (WMS)
- 2-3 years of forklift experience, strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of manufacturing field experience
