Job Summary
Maintenance Technician – Tool & Die Maker on 2nd shift responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining dies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling; set up and operate machining equipment (lathe, mill, grinder, drill); read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications; inspect components with precision measuring tools; perform preventative and corrective maintenance; troubleshoot mechanical and tooling issues to support uptime; collaborate with production, quality, and engineering; follow safety policies including LOTO; participate in 5-S and continuous improvement activities in a manufacturing environment with PPE; physical tasks include standing, lifting, bending, and tool use; location: Jackson, Tennessee (US)
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Hands-on experience with machining equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Detail-oriented with focus on quality and precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
