Job Summary
Maintain all production equipment in optimal condition, including regular checks, lubrication, and overhaul when necessary. Ensure safety circuits are functional, inspect electrical systems for hazards, and follow blueprints to comply with building codes. Assemble, install, test, and maintain equipment, including electrical wiring, while diagnosing and repairing issues using knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, and schematics. Keep accurate records, order supplies, and advise management on potential hazards. Ensure chillers and processed water receiving are operational daily and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Assist production in various capacities as needed. 1st shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical school degree
- 2-3 years of equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Mathematical skills
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using electronic devices
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to perform simple repairs
- Demonstrated troubleshooting experience
- Ability to understand and adapt to new information
- Team player with a commitment to collaborative problem-solving
- 1st shift availability
