Job Summary
Maintenance Technician role responsible for processing resident service requests within 24–48 hours, performing routine and preventive maintenance on interior/exterior property areas, and completing make-ready tasks for vacant units. Tasks include diagnosing defects, repairing systems, managing inventory, preparing punch lists, coordinating vendors, documenting work, and inspecting completed jobs to ensure quality. The role requires adherence to safety standards (OSHA), strong customer-service interactions with residents, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and occasional local travel. Preferred experience with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, One Site) and EPA refrigerant certifications. Must hold a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Experience: 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience (preferred)
- Licenses: Current Valid Driver's License
- Certifications: EPA Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- State and Local certifications as required
- Strong communication and delivery skills; proficiency with property management software
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and complete work orders within defined timelines
- Ability to inspect and prepare units for leasing (make-ready)
- Adherence to safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Ability to work weekends and varied hours as scheduled
Desired Qualifications
