Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining properties of the Sacramento County Operations, performing regular maintenance on heating and air conditioning units, servicing mechanical equipment, electrical repairs, and painting tasks. The role involves coordinating with volunteers for grounds maintenance and ensuring safety regulations are enforced. A valid CA Class C Driver License is required, along with at least two years of relevant experience. Physical capabilities include lifting up to 70 lbs and performing various physical activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years of experience in building and property maintenance and/or equipment repair
- Valid California Class C Driver License
- Ability to drive a DOT-Regulated Salvation Army vehicle
- Must be 21 years or older
