Job Summary
Conduct daily routine cleaning schedules for all common areas, manage trash removal, and perform room/property inspections. Complete work orders, execute painting tasks, and oversee preventative maintenance and care for the 66 single room occupancy complex. Ensure overall cleanliness and condition of Reed House under the direction of the Business and Property Manager while maintaining confidentiality regarding resident information. Work Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm supporting single adults with histories of substance abuse, mental health issues, and physical disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in multifamily maintenance
- Experience involving affordable housing
- Experience involving senior housing
- Experience involving special needs housing
- Ability to keep information in a confidential and secure fashion
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least two years building maintenance experience
- Self-starter capability
- Ability to work in an environment with multiple changing work priorities
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good writing communication skills
- Understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- PA State Police Criminal Record Check
- PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training
