Job Summary
Conduct independent troubleshooting, repair, and installation of heat pumps, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances across 312 apartment homes in Virginia Beach. Perform HVAC maintenance and handle refrigerant work while holding EPA certification. Utilize MS Office 365 and a personal mobile device to manage resident requests and work within a skilled crew environment. Maintain a valid driver's license and demonstrate strong communication skills to support proactive problem-solving. Earn a $150 weekly on-call stipend with opportunities for advancement across 23 communities in the Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to independently troubleshoot, repair, and install heat pumps
- EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (required)
- Hands-on HVAC experience is REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
- Well-rounded general maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, etc.)
- Proactive problem-solver with strong initiative
- Collaborative team player who works well in a skilled crew environment
- Technologically proficient, comfortable using MS Office 365 and a personal mobile device
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Valid Driver's License
