Maintenance Technician

Execute preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery and building systems, logging every task, part, and finding. Respond to line-down calls to restore operations, performing mechanical repair, adjustment, alignment, and lubrication on stitching, lasting, bottoming, and finishing equipment. Support air, dust collection, ventilation, lighting, and electrical systems while strictly enforcing lockout/tagout on every job. Flag equipment trending toward failure before it fails. Requires three or more years in industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics. Full plant access, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ladder work are necessary. Performance is measured by mean time to repair, preventive maintenance completion rate, and lockout/tagout compliance.
