Job Summary

Conduct inspection, diagnostics, and repairs of complex automated machinery in batch, continuous, and packaging processes. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to maximize plant equipment performance. Manage work orders for facility auxiliary systems and emergency component replacements while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies. Coach peers on core mechanical skills, defect identification, and equipment repair, and recognize unsafe working conditions to suggest new safety standards. Utilize drawings and manuals to execute maintenance tasks, ensuring all consumer food manufacturing complies with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years of manufacturing, commercial, or industrial experience
  • 3 years of experience relating to mechanical devices and systems
  • 1 year of experience including electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, reach, push, pull, twist, crawl, climb stairs/ladders, and be able to lift to a maximum of 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • Arkansas Boiler Operator License
  • Industrial Electricity or related coursework
  • Wastewater license
  • Skills in welding, machining, or metal fabricating
  • Ability to safely operate forklift or other powered industrial vehicles
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills utilizing multimeters, megohmmeters, and electrical theory
  • Understanding of mechanical devices and concepts
  • Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
