Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for general apartment-community maintenance, including routine and preventive maintenance, turnover maintenance, and other duties to maintain the property; duties include completing work orders, maintaining community appearance, identifying hazards, preparing vacant apartments, following manager directions on make-ready tasks, performing repairs and replacements to support occupancy, and adhering to safety policies; position engages in on-call rotation with additional pay and offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience
- EPA universal license for HVAC required
- CPO license required
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- HVAC Certification preferred (troubleshooting and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, major appliances including washer/dryer)
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred, college-level/trade school preferred
- Basic computer proficiency preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
