Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for routine and preventive maintenance of the apartment community. Complete work orders and other community maintenance tasks, strive to maintain the property appearance at or above quality standards, identify hazards and report to Manager, prepare vacant apartments for move-in, review make-ready board and follow directions for vacant units, perform repairs and replacements to keep units occupied, and work odd schedules with on-call rotation. Requires 2+ years general maintenance experience; EPA universal HVAC license and CPO license; HVAC knowledge for troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and major appliances (washer/dryer); high school diploma or equivalent; willingness to work on-call; adherence to safety policies; basic computer proficiency; bilingual is a plus. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of general maintenance experience
- EPA universal license for HVAC required
- CPO license required
- HVAC Certification preferred (ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment)
- High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred (college-level/trade school preferred)
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Basic computer proficiency preferred
- Bilingual a plus
